3 Signs You Are Wasting Your Life. (And, You Don’t Want to Admit it.)

Before I shared with you 3 signs you are wasting your life, let me ask you these questions:

What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? These were the same questions I asked myself on many occasions. Why is that? – You see, whenever I walked down the street, I would pass by hundreds of people around me. Yet, you could almost see the pain in their eyes and souls from just glancing to them.

How is that possible? – Their postures were bends. The way they talked was out of breath. The way they present themselves were giving you all the signs that they are not really there. – You can even say that they are walking dead. The ultimate question is, “What are the signs that you are wasting your life?”

#1: You don’t do things that make you alive even though it might be uncomfortable.

For more than six months, I hesitated to do kickboxing. WHY? Well, the physician assistant to the surgeon reminded me that I was old. I wasn’t good enough to do high impact training. I should think of something else that is low impact.

It angered me. It frustrated me. – Though the surgeon told me that it was okay to do high impact training after the brain tumor surgery, the words from the physician assistant stuck in my head for months. What was the result?

  • I started to have health problems.
  • I experienced fatigue and low energy.
  • I couldn’t concentrate on my tasks on hand.
  • I had problems being creative. – Well, I am a copywriter. Writing is the bread and butter for my business. Without creativity, I am as good as dead.

A few days ago, things turned from bad to worse. For the whole day, I couldn’t find even one task because of the constant fatigue. Suddenly, there is a voice in my head spoke out for me.

“Go to kickboxing,” – Mr. Intuition jump into my thought.

“I don’t think I can. The physician assistant told me that I should just do low impact training because of my age,” – I replied.

“She is old. You are not. You meant to become a kickboxer. I know she is your age, but she is old because her mentality is old, “– Mr. Intuition encouraged me to take the first step.

“But, the physician assistant…,” – I tried to answer.

“Stop the physician assistant crap. Just do it. Do NOT let anyone put a cap on what you can do or can’t do. You are limitless, “ – Mr. Intuition reminded me of my mission.

Despite constant fatigue, I decided to drive myself to the kickboxing class. When I got there, I saw many familiar faces. Many of them were friendly, but I didn’t feel great as I have stopped going to kickboxing classes for more than 1 ½ years.

“Time for class, “ – The instructor told us.

(5 minutes) — Fatigue won’t stop.
(10 minutes) — I felt too exhausted.
(20 minutes) — I felt exhausted. Yet, I discovered a new found energy.
(45 minutes) — There was a burst of energy re-appear from every cell of my body.
(1 hour) — I was exhausted, but my mind, body, and spirit are 100% with each other.

After I went home, I drank the postworkout drink, took a shower, and head to bed. At 4:45 AM, I jump out of bed, I felt a sense of calmness.

“You are right,” — I told Mr. Intuition.

“I am always right,” — Mr. Intuition replied with a smile.

The next day, which was yesterday, I was able to complete five times more tasks than I used to be for months. Today is my second day for having a morning ritual with high impact training. Guess what? – I am going to head to the kickboxing class again. – You can say it was an addiction. In reality, it helps me to serve you better in the years to come.

#2: You are too afraid of the unknown.

  • What if I decided to listen to the physician assistant?
  • What if her words kept putting a curse on me where I paralyze entirely for the rest of my life?
  • What if I stay fatigue for the next 30 years of my life? – It could be if I kept listening to the physician assistant’s advice.

The question is, “Why do people fear death?” – Think about this: At the end of life is death anyway. Part of the journey in life is death. Why fear it? Why are you afraid of death? – Why are you too concerned about what people say about you? All of us are going to be either cremated or buried on the ground.

If you have read my book, I mentioned that in our body, two energy sources control our mind, body, and spirit:
(A) The Yin energy;
(B) The Yang energy;
One energy source will always make you in a fearful state where at the end of your life, you will become despair, lonely, and regret on things that you didn’t do but wish to do.

When you are one with this ONE energy source, it will do whatever it takes to put you in a fearful state the rest of your life. – How do I know? – Look at what I wrote above. On the first 19 minutes of my kickboxing class, I was super exhausted. – I wanted to quit.

When I decided to stick with my plan, the other energy source fought to dominate my body. It was also the reason why I felt a source of new energy resurface inside my body. – Was it coincidence? ANSWER: Absolutely not.

Why is that? – Both energy sources exist long before we live in this human form. It is up to us which energy source we prefer to co-exist with. – And, no, you can’t get rid of the other energy source that associates with the darkness. However, you can minimize its existence in your being.

#3: You lack ultimate vision for your life.

What do you want to achieve in your life? – I am not referring to the next year, two years, or five years. I am referring to the end of your human journey. Think about this: Why do I wake up at 4:45 AM every single day? Why do I decide to head to kickboxing classes including today despite a stern warning from the physician assistant?

ANSWER: The Ending.

You see, vision without actions is a waste of time. – There are plenty of people talked about how the future will look like. I don’t. WHY? – They are what I called, “Hallucination Type of individuals.” I don’t talk about what I do. I don’t concern about the future. Instead, I move toward the vision as fast as I can. This way, at the end of my life, I would die empty.

The question is, “Do you care about what people say about you?” — ANSWER: Nope. – I have been called many (many) things in life. My father used to call me a pig, a dog, an animal, and even a loser. I am grateful for his words. Why? – When other people called me something kinder that he used to do for three decades of my life, it was nothing really.

The next question is, “If you don’t care what other people say about you, what you care then?” Two critical actions I will focus on every day and the rest of my life:

(A) I care about what I accomplish today.
(B) I care about what I plan to do tomorrow to get closer and closer to the vision I have in my life.

It sounds straightforward. It really is. WHY? – I can’t control the future. I can’t change the past. I can focus on what I need to do today and what I am going to do the next day. And, when you stick with this principle in your life, there is no pain, no concern about the future, and no fear of the unknown. – It is how you embed the limitless in you.
