Five Core Fundamentals to Build a Successful Business on the Internet

Since I retired from the Internet Marketing industry, many readers asked me if I am able to share with them some tips on what they can do to grow their online business. – You see, regardless of what business you are in, as long as you master core fundamentals every company should have, you are able to re-build any business you want even if you were to start all over again.

The question is, “What are those core fundamentals you must possess?”

FUNDAMENTAL #1: Build Your List as soon as possible.

FB or Twitter followers are NEVER equal to subscribers. It also means that if you have 100,000 followers on Twitter, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are able to make a lot of money tomorrow. – It doesn’t work that way. How do you know that, Henry? Well, one of my closest friends has over 500,000 followers. He told me in secrets that he would prefer to have 100,000 subscribers like I do.

FUNDAMENTAL #2: Build Relationship with Your Audience as soon as possible.

People buy from people they love, know, and trust. In other words, you must build the relationship with your audience from the start. – Yes, you can copy what I do such as writing great articles, create a YouTube channel, posts quote cards on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Also, you can interview experts in your field.

Why is this important for your audience to know about you? People can’t read your mind. In other words, if you don’t share your expertise in the form of videos, audios, or text formats, they can’t love, know, and trust you. In other words, every time you send out emails where you recommend your audience to buy your products and services, they would have a tendency to either unsubscribed or say “NO” to your offer.

FUNDAMENTAL #3: Utilize Social Networking Sites as a way to Build Your Subscriber Base.

It means that when you get on a call with an expert, you don’t want to ask your audience to buy your products. Instead, ask them to download your free e-book.

It means that when you published a new video on YouTube, instead of asking your audience to buy your products, ask them to download your free-book or subscribe to your YouTube channel.

It means that when you published a new podcast on Apple Podcast, instead of asking your audience to buy your product, ask them to download your free e-book or subscribe to your channel.

FUNDAMENTAL #4: Utilize your blog post as a way to tell your audience what they need to do to solve their problems.

In fact, read this article one more time. Why do I write the article? – It is straightforward, really. I concentrate on providing you the solution on what you need to do to solve your problems. The problem is even if I share with you on “WHAT” you need to do to solve your problems, you will still need to know “HOW” to solve it.

What is HOW in this case? – That will be your products and services.

FUNDAMENTAL #5: Create Results-In-Advanced Products and Services.

Seriously, forget about the word “trip wire” or “lower ticket items” at the price of $7 or $27. – Instead, start pricing your offer at the price of $97 or higher. Here are “FOUR” reasons why:

  • You are able to build high-quality customers. – By pricing your price high enough, you are able to receive high-quality customers who are ready to invest in their own transformation.
  • You are able to focus on providing your clients with the products that will solve their problems once and for all. – It means that you are able to receive a lot of great testimonials for your business for each new customer that you attract your business.
  • You are able to enough funding to keep creating high-quality products and services for your clients in the future. – Think about it this way, okay? It takes a lot of time to create a high-quality product. The questions you need to ask yourself are: (A) Do you prefer to receive $10,000 for every 100 copies you sold? Or (B) Do you prefer to earn $700 for every 100 copies you sold?
  • You will be motivated to release high-quality products and services. – As you have more time and cash flow to invest in developing high-quality products and services, you will be able to build a sustainable business in the long run. – On top of that, you will receive a lot of word of mouth advertising for your business.

The question you need to ask yourself are, “Are you focusing on building a sustainable business? Or Are you focusing on building quick cash for yourself?
