In the mid of agony, I finally had a chance to fall asleep. I didn’t remember what time it was. I just knew the night was long and dark just like every other night. As painful as I felt, I saw a little boy ran to me.
“Why did you betray me, Henry?” – The little boy asked.
“Who are you?” – I replied with a lot of confusion.
“Don’t you remember me?” – The little boy replied with sadness.
“Why are you here?” – I replied.
The breeze in the night woke me up. At that moment, I cried uncontrollably. I remembered vividly the dream I used to have as a young boy. I was full of life. I was happy, jumping up and down, and full of laughter. As tears kept dropping down especially after I was all alone after my ex-girlfriend left, I closed my eyes again. At that moment, the little boy reappeared.
“Henry, don’t let me down,” – The little boy cried.
“Why should I? I don’t understand,” – I replied.
“You promised me that you would give me your best,” – The little boy cried uncontrollably.
“I did, and I will never let you down,” – I replied as I started to cry.
As I woke up from that dream, I stood tall. I promised myself that I would do whatever it takes to live a full life. – You see, when I was a kid, I would write numbers on books on how much money I made, how many hotels I owned, and which countries I visited. When someone told me that I couldn’t do it, I told them that I am Henry Gold.
Decades later, I spent many sleepless nights grieving from betrayal from my ex-girlfriend, the bad treatments from my father, as well as deal with former partners who stabbed me in the back.
“I can’t do this to myself anymore,” – I reaffirmed myself.
“Transform your anger as a drive to get everything you want in life,” – My intuition replied.
“How do I do that?” – I asked.
“When you get emotional, hit the sandbag until you are dead tired. When you get upset with your past roadblocks, work until your brain hurts,” – My intuition suggested.
Every single day, I would use my anger as a way to create a new product, launch a new website, as well as transforming my clients’ life. When I head to the kickboxing classes, I will hit the sandbag until I had nothing left. – One time, one of the fellow kickboxers asked me why I was hitting the sandbag so hard. – One time, a 100 lbs sandbag fell off.
“Henry, stop hitting the sandbag so hard,” – Ms. Apple told me.
“I just wanted to die empty every single night,” – I replied.
“What do you mean?” – Ms. Apple asked with a lot of confusion.
“Life is awesome. I want to give my all and die empty at the end of each day,” – I replied with a smile.
For months, I continued to transform my anger and frustration as a fuel to live a limitless life. I would constantly remind myself that if I gave in to fear, I would get back to living a life full of darkness. – I love my dad so much by not allowing him to ruin the life he gave me. It was also the reasons why I had to block him from my life.
As I completed one task after another, my confidence started to rise. Gradually, I was able to fall asleep at night. At that moment, the little boy entered my dream.
“Thank you, Henry,” – The little boy told me with a smile.
“I am sorry for what I did,” – I replied in silence as I tried to hold on to my tear.
“Keep doing your best. I am proud of you,” – The little boy told me.
I woke up from my dream. I remembered it was around 4:30 AM. Instead of heading back to sleep, I performed my morning ritual by doing the breathing exercise. Then, I headed to my 5:45 AM kickboxing class. By 12 PM, I completed the majority of my tasks on my to-do-list. As I ate my lunch, I asked myself why the little boy kept appearing in my dream.
“I am happy for you,” – My intuition jumps into my thought.
“What is that for?” – I replied.
“That little boy is your limitless self in you,” – My intuition replied.
“Does everybody has one too?” – I asked as I got very curious.
“Yes, they do. Unfortunately, most people allowed their current circumstances to sabotage their dreams,” – My intuition replied.
“I didn’t do anything different than the rest of the population,” – I replied as I didn’t think my intuition was right.
“You did. You allowed only the right people in your life. You give your all even though it was a hard decision to make. You let go of your self-pride of being right. They were all emotional decisions. You were willing to decide in real-time to remove them all,” – My intuition replied with certainty.
As I continued to live a limitless life, all of a sudden, my inner circle changed. In the past, I could only wish I surrounded myself with highly influential individuals. – Now, I am friends with Fortune 5000 CEOs, celebrities, social media influencers, as well as editors for newspapers and magazines. Also, I have more than 100,000 readers across the globe. – It all starts with that the little boy.
Even though that little boy no longer appeared in my dream, I know for the fact that I will always make him proud of what I do for the rest of my life.
The question is, “What did you tell yourself when you were 12-year old?”
